Episode 30: Mizuki's Scenario

Kaidoh's shot wasn't a Snake shot nor a Boomerang Snake. It was a failed attempt of a shot. It was before then, that Kaidoh noticed that the two were actually waiting for his Snake shot, therefore didn't gave them the chance to see it. The Doubles 2 of St. Rudolph were confused as to why Kaidoh didn't hit a Snake because according to Mizuki's simulation, he would be hitting it with a Snake. They didn't dwell on it after that.

Kaidoh and Momoshiro were really struggling with their match. It seemed that their opponents did their assignment and thoroughly researched about them. All they could do for the meantime was return all the attacks of St. Rudolph. The Seigaku regular members also noticed this, that after almost 40 minutes, all they could do was rally.

It was time for Change Court. Yanagizawa (who adds "dane" in every sentences he says) annoyed Kaidoh and Momoshiro before continuing their game saying that their manager, Mizuki, did a very precise simulation about their match and that St. Rudolph would win this doubles in a 6-2 game in favor of St. Rudolph. He actually told Momoshiro and Kaidoh that it seemed that Mizuki's scenario is actually coming true since St. Rudolph won 5 games but only 2 games for Seigaku in Doubles 2. Only 1 more game and it is really 6-2. Momoshiro and Kaido got fed up and told Yanagizawa to shut his "dane dane" mouth. Before the match commenced, Mizuki stood up from his bench and asked the referee if he could sweep the lines because it's really hard to see whether the ball is in or out. The referee consented and Mizuki swept the floor, effectively dampening the fighting tension of Momoshiro and Kaidoh. Mizuki then stepped towards Inui who's standing just outside the railings and told him that it's too bad that he couldn't give an advice to his team because he wasn't a regular anymore. Inui countered Mizuki's subtle insult by telling him that he wasn't about to give any advice since there's no need to give one.

As the match continued, Ryoma got up and turned to walk away only to be called by Horio and the others, asking him where he's going. Ryoma told them that he's going for a drink. The freshmen stared baffled at Ryoma's attitude saying that he's not supposed to go away when his senpai's in a "pinch". Confused, Ryoma turned to them and told them he couldn't see anyone in a pinch and walked off to get his beloved Ponta.

During the match, Kaidoh's and Momoshiro's power increased and their vitality remained strong. Sometime along the match, Momoshiro told Kaidoh to use "it" already. Kaidoh thought about it, but before he could decide, Momoshiro put in that if he's afraid to know how their opponents would return "it"......... then....

Immediately, Kaidoh decided to use his Boomerang Snake for the first time during the match after a lot of goading from Momoshiro. Almost everyone was taken aback by the shot, especially the referee who looked as if he was about to wet himself. The crowd went "ooh" and "aaah"s. Only Ryoma told Kaidoh "Mada Mada Dane", since his Boomerang Snake is still incomplete, because if he was playing Singles, his shot would be called "out". Still, St. Rudolph's members were shocked, most of all was Mizuki who thought that Kaidoh's Boomerang Snake before was just a lucky shot and couldn't be repeated again. This amazing shot pushed Momoshiro to heat up and let out an amazing Dunk Smash when the chance came up. He told Kaidoh who's looking at him in amazement too that he's indeed raging.
